A part of me laughs, cries and dies as I type this: I bought this domain almost three years ago and I’ve written close to nothing. They say something’s gotta give and I refuse that that something be the ritual that both calms and motivates me the most — writing. I’ve been keeping a journal since I was 8. I’m 29, inching towards 30 and I haven’t tried hard enough. Today, on the 14th of October in the year 2017, I choose to make attempt #100 and something.

I’m still navigating through the noise and finding meaning in the every day. Sometimes the mind ventures one way1, sometimes another2, but mostly it’s about breathing.

I enjoy writing about culture: music, literature, film, philosophy, science and technology, feminism and politics. I’m very intrigued by what the future holds for humankind.

It is here where I attempt to conquer my part of the belly of the beast—in this noisy void that has become the Internet where forever more peace and hate, love and war, [we've declared] a new state3.
